Our Services for PCT Hikers
Package Holding
- Send your resupply boxes to us! Address:
Mtn Postal, 1034 Emerald Bay Rd, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150
- Label your package: “Hold for PCT Hiker [your name], ETA: MM/DD/YY.”
- Add your phone number or email—we’ll notify you when your package arrives.
- We hold packages for 45 days—one free for each reship with us, or $10 per package otherwise.
Shipping Services
- Send gear home (like that bear canister post-Sierra) or forward unopened boxes to the next stop.
- We ship via USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
Hiker Supplies
- Need more? Raley’s is next door, and Sierra is too.

- From the Trail: At PCT mile 1,090.8 (Hwy 50 crossing), hitch 11 miles east to South Lake Tahoe. We’re right at the Y intersection of Hwy 50 and 89 next to Raley's.
- By Bus: Take the BlueGo 50/55 line to the Y—our door’s a 2-minute walk.
Resupply Tips
- Next Stretch: Stock up for the 104 miles to Sierra City (mile 1,194). Truckee (mile 1,153) is a lighter resupply option.
- Local Gems: Flash your PCT permit at Base Camp Pizza for a free slice, or hit the South Lake Tahoe Rec Center for a $3 shower.
- Trail Milestone: The Sierra’s done—Northern California’s forests and peaks are calling!
